January 19th 2009: Temple of Augustus, Vienne, 20 miles from Lyon. The Temple of Augustus has stood in the center of Vienne France for almost 2000 years. Constructed around 20 to 10 BC as a part of a forum in Vienne. It was originally dedicated to the Roman god Augustus, hence the name.
