Often considered as the image of colonialism and by extension racist because of its famous logo, Banania is the US Nesquik … although we do have Nesquik and it has a slight different taste, but you see what I mean. Its slogan “Y’a bon Banania” is cult and a lot of people collect Banania’s products like posters, bowls, tins, etc.
I even found an old DOS game which you can download here.
Here is a set of commercials from the 80s on France 2 which at the time was called Antenne 2. Some of those products still exists, the Banania one is the lat one, at 4:10 minutes.
