Noir debacle
About 5 years ago, Bertrand Cantat, singer for a very popular French rock band called Noir Désir, got into a heated fight with his partner who ended up in a severe coma.
Marie Trintignant, who was filming in Lithuania at the time, died from her wounds and Cantat was found guilty. He was supposed to be jailed for 8 years. He was freed in Octobre 2007 for his good behavior. You can imagine how huge this story was in France at the time and still now.
She was the daughter of Jean-Louis Trintignant, actor himself, who you might know more than Marie
Today, Noir Désir is releasing two new songs . Bad memories are remembered and it’s making a lot of noise in the tabloids.
But for a lot of fans it’s just a great band’s return. The following video is one of their new song Gagnants / Perdants ( Bonne nuit les petits ):
